Ryan and Cheryl's 4th of July shower

Ryan and especially Cheryl were great sports at the Siebenaler Family shower. Thanks to jack and Sally for hosting such a wonderful party! Ryan and Cheryl looked sooooo cute in their Western finery. We had the privilege of hanging out and getting to know Cheryl's parents , sister and brother-in-law....great folks. Ryan and Cheryl got some real cool stuff for their home and it will be sooooo fun celebrating with them on their wedding day. A bunch of us are staying overnight at the Country Inn and Suites nearby and hope to have breakfast together on Sunday. Join us. Best to Ryan and Cheryl!!!!

thurmes summer vacation...Nisswa

Great to see jill has posted on the siebenaler blog. It's been a while since I checked in....it's so fun to see and hear about all the new babies. We are looking forward to Ryan and Cheryl's wedding and seeing many of you again. Only Anna will be able to attend along with Ken and I.
Jenna, Matt, Katie, Anna, Ken and i just spent a wonderful week together at a cabin near Nisswa. The 4 pugs were also able to come along. It was a perfect spot for us with the 4 dogs. it was surrounded on 3 sides with water and a hill on the other which acted as a natural barrier to keep the dogs close...they are not to fond of the water. The kids rented a ski boat for a couple of days . What a blast. Katie had never water skiied before and got up on the 2nd try. By the next day she was able to drop one ski for a little while. We were quite amazed. Jenna had the most experience and made it look soooo easy so I tried. 5 times with sore arms and legs and a big fat bruise puttting an end to my skiing. Matt too had very little experience. He got up right away and was showing off to entertain us all. We did lots of biking, eating out, and made daily trips to the Adirondak coffee shop (yes it's still there but has moved to a nice new location) Free internet there now FYI . Every day around 4 or 5 pm we managed a nice "Happy Hour". Blue Moon, Corona , Margharitas and Mohitos were the favorites. We had fun playing yahtzee, Farkle (10,000), a great dice game and euchre (spelling?) We spent time reading, sunbathing, listening to music and cooking up some fine dinners and breakfasts. It was so fantastic having us all together just relaxing and having fun together again.
In August, ken and I are going to visit Jenna, Matt and Katie in Denver. Don't think Anna will make the trip. Jenna ,Matt and Katie just leased their 1st commercial space for their photography business and are very excited and busy getting the place ready for a Sept. opening. It is near downtown Denver in the Highlands area. Ken and I are hoping to help with their work in any way we can to get the space ready. Must go for now. I'll try to get a good picture on soon of our vacation.

He's Here!
Meet Ryan Thomas Wentzler. I'm hoping to get an announcement sent out, but I will also try to keep updated photos of our little family right here too.
Ben and Alli are really enjoying their new brother. Both like to start their morning by holding him. We're keeping busy this summer with the summer Library program and the local pool. We've also seen a lot of Grandmas and Grandpas. Looking forward to the fourth!
Well, Tom successfully made it to Chicago to start his M.A. of Music Ed. He's now learning the ins and outs of Chicago living. He's really enjoying the people he's surrounded by and quite overwhelmed with a busy schedule. His sister is close by and he's rooming with a good friend. He will be returning home at the end of July and then soon after he will join the Hastings Band for their Fall marching schedule. This is something he started last year.
Me, I'm just doing. Busy with three yes, but I have family close by and I'm so thankful. I'll see y'all on the Fourth of July!
